The “People First Leadership” approach puts people at the center, aligning their purposes and individual objectives with the organization’s purpose and vision. People First Leadership allows us to create a culture that fosters well-being, growth, and personal development, recognizing that these characteristics are fundamental drivers of productivity and innovation. This approach acknowledges that people are mind, body, heart, and spirit, and that work is a source of personal fulfillment.

People First Leadership Initiatives

For several years I have collaborated with various proposals aligned with the People First Leadership message, allowing me to enhance and bring this message to more people around the world.

leadership forum

Since 2021, I drive the largest community of leaders in Ibero-America alongside a magnificent team of collaborators. We created a space for the exchange of ideas and actions that help spread the importance of individual actions within an organization and society. We also provide transformative tools to implement a new leadership focused on people.

We have an active community that includes leaders and renowned academics and entrepreneurs, including personalities such as Tal Ben-Shahar, Raj Sisodia, Paul Schoemaker, Whitney Johnson, Bill George, Linda Hill, Alex Rovira, Jennifer Garvey Berger, Guibert Englebienne, Hermann Simon, and Michele Zanini, among many others.

Global Peter
Drucker Forum

I am an Ambassador of the Global Peter Drucker Forum, a conference based on the principles and ideals of Peter Drucker, bringing together like-minded thinkers and professionals to carry forward his legacy. For two consecutive years, I served as Conference Chair, co-hosting the event and moderating sessions and activities. Today, I provide strategic advice and connect people to enrich the annual debate.

People First Index

We created this holistic indicator as an innovative response to analyze key dimensions of well-being and happiness in the workplace. It goes beyond the mere assessment of individual components, exploring the intricate interaction between the individual, their relationship with their leaders, and their role within the organization.

Inner Development Goals

I collaborate with the Inner Development Goals (IDG) – a non-profit, open-source initiative committed to promoting science-based skills for living sustainable, productive, and purposeful lives. This initiative is led by global leaders, politicians, artists, and other social actors willing to prioritize how we generate change over the causes of the major problems in our societies.

The IDGs propose an action framework with 5 dimensions: Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating, and Acting, as accelerators to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations and create a prosperous future for all of humanity.

Books

People First Leadership is an invitation to explore organizational culture, soft variables, the role of purpose in business, as well as communication, decision-making, active listening, and a leader’s emotions.

By connecting conversations with iconic personalities such as Jack Welch, Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Jim Collins, Steven Covey, Francis Ford Coppola, or James Cameron, we observe that the most successful “Chief Emotion Officers” focus on the human element, with special care in managing culture and emotions that produce extraordinary results for the business.
